When I Started:
How I Started:
I grew up in a small town on a farm, wrestling both people and cattle alike :)(and cat fish once noodeling season gets here;) its my favorite)I began Thai boxing at a very young age, once I began fighting professionally I relized I needed much more than just the matt work. I soon joined CrossFit okc and have been head over heals in love with working out ever since.
Why I Love It:
I am always pushing myself to find my breaking points, and break them. I love working out because it not only keeps my body in shape, but my body in tune with what my mind wants it to do without struggle or complication. I try to stay as primitive as possible:)
How I Stay Motivated:
Having a fight ahead of me alone is motivation enough. I always want to be on my A game when I am in the ring, and when I am not. I always want to keep my mind as sharp as possible to stay prepared for the anatomical chess match between me, and my competition. I believe that this is best done through working out, eating right, and respecting my body and what its telling me it needs.

The best thing to build is to eat. EAT, EAT EAT but eat good muscle building foods and not just things that will add unwanted fat.

I see your point..I guess I'm more of a traditional female. Definatly don't fit in the feminist category..but this by NO MEANS makes me weak! It's all about grace...if people call that weakness, then so be it;) I BUST my ass with my training..and I'm all about preseverence..but I like to keep my life balanced..that's what makes me happy..to each it's own, right? YUCK...NO CYBORG!!!!....LOL I was so pissed off at the Carano/Cyborg fight that I couldn't see straight. I was so mad, cause Gina had a great opportunity to win when she had her mounted. That was out of character for her. I love that she is taking on a "man's sport", but still can balance her femininity. Sorry, I rambled...can you tell I love her???...lol Check out my blog on Gina Carano's workout..that doesn't look like a joke to me....;)

What's it like fighting when you get beat up real bad. I can't imagine anything worse. You must be so strong physically and mentally to get back and do it again. My weekend was great thanks as always and yours?
