When I Started:
How I Started:
The progression went from child athlete to high school athlete to college athlete to better-join-a-gym-and-work-off-my-college-weight-i-ain't-no-ball-playa-no-mo to OH CRAP I JUST HAD A BABY to hey, let's run a marathon to OH HOLY HELL NOW I'M OVER 35 AND THIS IS GETTIN RUFF so how about doing a 1/2 IRONMAN TRIATHLON to get after it!!! and here i am =)
Why I Love It:
It's my time to shine!! haha... seriously now...i wouldn't know what to do with the extra time if i didn't and finding out isn't an option cuz it would probably involve me...a tv... and a trough full of vanilla ice cream w/ chocolate syrup! not a pretty picture i just painted for ya'll!! :)
How I Stay Motivated:
Without this, I'd be buying some therapist their next house, boat, car and dog! I think the gym's a much cheaper alternative =D
just starting to think about adding weights. this is painful to keep up but i do for motivation! BLECH!
not sure i see toooo much progress, but i haven't had the time, nor the energy, to put the time in. i'm lucky to get 45 mins for my trainings (sooo hard for this endurance junky!) since i can't dedicate the time to training (causing me great anxiety), i'm focusing on my food intake..
Seems I've been reading alot of blogs lately about overweight people and the choices they make (obviously regarding food). And while I have no issue with these blogs (and certainly not the people who've written them), I do find that my bleeding heart liberalism is being tugged for...
How old is the patient? What are your duties while there? It sounds like babysitting to a point just sitting at their home. They go to sleep and then your just at their place with nothing to do.
But how much can you do from their house? Not like you can bring machines to every house other then small monitors. Then you just spend the night in their house? Seems strange lol.
No but I felt like I was for a few days there. We were literally stuck at home. There were 5 ft drifts in front of our house. UGH...so glad to finally be dug outta that mess sista.
Which flip flopping are you speaking of? 9 is not to bad. You don't need to be home all the time. I'm sure there is pros and cons to both of sides. If he needs you day time your free to get him and you can rest now knowing he should be in bed. I guess I can see why nights is better to a point with a child. You in a hospital?
I work Monday and Tuesday night. Trying to stay up long enough to get to sleep here in a bit and get decent sleep before work. So, your at work this time of night. How old is your child and how often do you do this night shift?
I believe the tax penalty is 1 year now. However, the 8k tax credit for 1st homebuyers states you need to live in that house for three years. If you do you don't owe any of the 8k back. I am awake because I have 2 more night shifts left.
Ahh, bouncing back quickly depends on a very factors. If your body is already used to a certain amount of working out, even after a break it comes back into the zone faster. If your diet had been on point minus a few meals, you'll come right back when you add the exercise to it. This will be my first and most likely I will have to stay there 3 years not to repay the *k tax credit.
Haha, yes there is. You take a holiday treat photo and then a back in business photo! Then we can see how much your partied it up and how fast you bounce back! Calling me young ehh? ;) Thank you. The house was foreclosed and the government owned the house. They wanted 98k for it but my max offering ability was 92.5k. They accepted the offer I guess because no one else placed an offer in on it. It's a decent first house for me.
2 story, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath 1642 sq ft heated. Attached 2 car garage to make 2000 total sq ft. It's a nice house. I bought it for 92k and its tax value is 138k. Hopefully in three years I can see it for around 140k and make a nice big of equity for myself. Well if it's not Vs, its still sexy. Just had to look close to see it was a hat in the background.
