The progression went from child athlete to high school athlete to college athlete to better-join-a-gym-and-work-off-my-colleg e-weight-i-ain't-no-ball-playa-no-mo to OH CRAP I JUST HAD A BABY to hey, let's run a marathon to OH HOLY HELL NOW I'M OVER 35 AND THIS IS GETTIN RUFF so how about doing a 1/2 IRONMAN TRIATHLON to get after it!!! and here i am =)
Why I Love It:
It's my time to shine!! haha... seriously now...i wouldn't know what to do with the extra time if i didn't and finding out isn't an option cuz it would probably involve me...a tv... and a trough full of vanilla ice cream w/ chocolate syrup! not a pretty picture i just painted for ya'll!! :)
How I Stay Motivated:
Without this, I'd be buying some therapist their next house, boat, car and dog! I think the gym's a much cheaper alternative =D

My training for the Hood to Coast relay is going really well. I've been averaging about 35 miles the last few weeks (up from about 20) and MAN ALIVE, am I feeling this increase! But I love it, so I'm far from complaining.. (except when I do.. haha) But this increase means that my weight training...
I ended up bagging the Western States volunteer station, unfortunately, since I was getting ready to go the next day to Yosemite with the family. Vacation was great!
I know..I miss our late night talks..I am so busy constantly at work now that I don't have time to eat most nights..ohhhh but the money is nice..haha..funny you should say that..LOL..I just got done doing "half burpee Annie"..
I don't know..I've been busy..you've been busy. Who knows. We are going to have to change that soon.=) Glad your training is going well. I haven't got all the equipment I need to do some make shift workouts at home when my shifts are stacked. But, the training in a whole is going well.
Hi, Friend! Just thought I'd see how you were. My back is doing better and I'm hoping to be 100% by the end of the month. Gonna try and stick to swimming and maybe Spin bike until then.
