Goal (Long):
I want to be able to swim harder and faster for future competitions.. I want to add 3 miles more to my already 12 miles of jogging. I need to be able to swim more than a 500 yard butterfly without stopping.. Have my 200 freestlye time down to a 1:49:00, my 50 yard free @ 21:24, 100 yard free @ 50 or less
Thanks for the add . I am swimming to get in shape . I started later then most so maybe eventually I can try competition but right now I want to swim run and lift to get my physique up to par. Do you swim competitively? how is your training going?
Thank you so much for adding me to your friends Greg, and also for the kind words on my article. Please drop by anytime to say hi - I enjoy hearing how my friends are doing and getting to know them - wishing you a good week :) ~ Jen
I'm doing great, wieght loss is starting to slow down, i'm still swimming training .Swim Season starts October,I'm hoping to at least have six pack by Jan 2010.
If you want to increase your abb strengh, especially when you swim, put on a pair of flippers lie on your back hands streched in a streamline postition and do butterfly kick. Several laps and your abbs should be burning.
