How I Started:
In my youth I had always been interested in fitness and weight training but never took it that step that was needed.My diet was always off and i only lifted out of my soccer season for aout 3 month stints.I picked up a lower back injury and then never touched a weight again for about 15 years.Now after all those years of over eating and under training i started to suffer from high blood pressure and constant lower back pain.The summer of 2008 i picked up another injury,this time my knee,while playing sports. I became very over weight and unhealthy. I came across a transformation article with before and after pics and I decided that in 2009 ( taking 3 months for my knee to heal ) I would start to train regularly and put long term goals rather than a few weeks at a time. Now i am totally commited to transforming myself. I will have abs and vascular arms by the end of 2009!
Why I Love It:
It is a release and gives a feeling of acheiment after each workout. The chance to totally transform how
i feal and look.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation comes from the mirror!
The need to change how i look keeps me motivated.
Well today i started on the course of building myself a lean, strong and fit body. My diet could have bean better but i put 100% into the training and fueld my body with protein and creatine after the workout.
still doin stregnth trainin but doin a bulk over the next few months,i counted my days cals and ive only been gettin 1750 with all the healthy food ive been eatin so im still eatin clean but eatin more nuts n ive got some of that musclemax cyclone to give me more cals and ive got it up to 2700.i bet i end up puttin all that fat back on ha what r you changing when u get back? havin time off is not what u want to do but its the right choice! that bit of time off made the difference 4 me!
sorry to hear about ya back fred hope it gets better 4 ya!i had a week off last week cos id done the gym about 15 weeks in a row n it has made the world of difference i feel totaly restored! hope it has the same effect 4 u bud!
hey fred! ive had a good week ta ive been stuck on the same wieght on shoulder press 4 months now and i proper smashed through it yesterday im really pleased! how about u mate hows your week been?

I'm just getting back from vacation at an all inclusive resort where I ate too much and drank too much but well needed break. Training is going well, I struggle with the diet to. I never miss a workout. When you train and eat well the results are much quicker to come. If you eat crap then basically all your hardwork is for nothing. Its a process to change your lifestyle and I'm still working on it. Keep chuggin along!
ye it was very strange i bet i haven't seen them 4 10 years ha! i could only see part of the top ones but im happy that there goin in the right direction! i could do with some iron 5kg's ive got iron 10's n then its down to sand 5's and ya no how much room they take up on the bar? the 10;s are a bit to big 4 some things as well like db deadlifts they scrape up my legs or i kill my shoulders stoppin them.
do u have sand wieghts on ya dumbells? ye i think i do, not on a weekly basis but evry now and then i see something that wsn't there before like yesterday i had a look in the mirror and i can see part of my stomach muscles now.
ye i know exactly what you mean im gettin to that stage now where its gettin hard to train on my own, luckly ive got a multi gym so ican still bench alot on my own but in a couple of months there wont be enough wieght on it so...? im thinkin of doin alot more stuff with dumbells! ifeel im still makin good gains tho, have u noticed any gains in mass?
thanks mate! its a small step but if i keep it goin 4 the next few months it will soon add up. if there's a boots near you some of them have a machine inside that takes your hieght,wieght,bmi and bf readin 4 70p. theres 1 in the tesco near me as well but it doesnt work ha every little helps haha
Alright mate, its all gone wrong this week im afraid! Been workin crazy hours, put the weight I lost back on & only done weights once! Lost all my motivation cause im tired from work all the time. Anyway, how's ur trainin goin? Been gettin many weights in?
