When I Started:
Dec, 2006
How I Started:
I was introduced to a physical therapist through a friend and have been keeping up with it ever since December 06'. Previously I played soccer in high school and kept my body in great shape. I always had a hard time gaining muscle in high school because of my kick ass metabolism. My metabolism has finally slowed down a little and can hit the goals I have for myself.
Why I Love It:
I love the energy levels I gain from working out in addition to looking much more presentable...I hate looking like a slob. This is also one of few things in my life I actually have control over.
Did you ever ask yourself I could never look like that because of my genetics? I have, and I am sick of hearing people say: "You actually count calories, that is not the way to live!" It is comments such as that, which make me realize I will have a prosperous future by working hard both in the gym and in my professional career. Hard work does pay off and I absolutely love earning everything on my own. Those are the moments where I can justify smoking a cigar on a cozy chair looking back on all my accomplishments.
Besides, we are all going to reach a point in our lives when we will look back and realize whether or not we chose poorly...I want to look back and be able to set a great example for my new daughter. Someone that she can confide in and look up too, even though I had my share of stupidity over the years
How I Stay Motivated:
When I see others that are in great shape in gives me a drive to attain that same stature. After every work-out I look in the mirror and keep telling myself I can work harder and look better.
BTW...my wife and friends give me a kick in the ass when I am feeling weak, especially when it comes to my poor food choices.
BB Accomplishments:
I have finally started to notice some overall definition. I have finally gotten my biceps toned.
Its working!! I no longer have tits! My chest (when flexed) actually looks like there is muscle behind it. Great feeling!

This was taken while on my honeymoon. My goal at this time was to tone my biceps and trim off some flab on my stomach.
