Got in a second leg workout in a week. Focused on squats but also added in some presses/extensions and leg curls. I did some more reading (got some advice from the forum) and think I'll try a low volume squat/deadlift split workout ... adding some weight every few days to see how much progress...
Hi! Working sprints in for mass contradict each other. You could try light weight for high volume training. Push as much blood in the legs as possible! Break up as many muscle fibers as you can! Then rest and do it again the next week!
I really like T-bar rows (with a good squeeze of my shoulder blades towards the end) and I prefer lever pull downs for my lats, as opposed to lat pull downs on the cables.
Deadlifts are great for the lower back (though, I do deadlifts on my leg days). I generally do weighted back extensions on back/bi day.
Flyboy, sorry for the late reply. I don't have any knowledge about whether sprints will help your legs grow more than weight training. I'm sure either way it wouldn't hurt :P
THanks for the compliment!! I think that I just naturally tend to have a good quad sweep, but some exercises I would suggest are to definitely keep squatting so you build overall mass and also try some close stance hack squats as well for the sweep! Good luck and thanks again!
