What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
i blew out my t1 rib on my left side while using a cable chest press machine. my own fault: i pushed out with my left shoulder, lifting it off the bench. the deep tissue muscle that conjoins the bicep and the pectoral muscle underneath spent the next two hours trying to pull my rib back in (waiting to see a chiropractor) and subsequently i ended up with a lot of deep tissue bruising. it took the better part of 8 weeks to fully heal without fear of reinjury.i blew out my t1 rib on my left side while using a cable chest press machine. my own fault: i pushed out with my left shoulder, lifting it off the bench. the deep tissue muscle that conjoins the bic...more

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?

You definitely have to put some pics up with your suits on, I bet they look great! Yeah, Im already learning alot from the trainer and I have only been with her twice so far. Today was legs day and they are on FIRE! But its good, I like it.
wow! Only 3 weeks? Anxious to know how it goes and see some pics? Did you make your own suit? Things are going ok with me I guess they could be better. I started working with a personal trainer on Monday and it was intense.
