How I Started:
My best friend got a small weight set in highschool and we got a book called Arnold's Modern Bodybuilding Encylopedia....it has been an addiction ever since!
Why I Love It:
I love the idea of being in control of my life in all aspects. Bodybuilding allows me to control what I look like and how I feel. This is the same as going to school for me. I would not feel well rounded if I were merely successful in one aspect of life.
Another great thing about bodybuilding is that you take it with you wherever you go. Everyone knows you take care of yourself and put in the effort to look the way you do. I get inspired when I see someone in great shape...bodybuilding is just a part of me.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation comes from always wanting to improve. Bodybuilding is just another extension of me which allows me to excel. I am always trying to improve every aspect of my life so motivation is easy for me...its time I have trouble finding.
This picture was taken when i was 22 years old. I was into working out but still played baseball and that came first. Oh and I never knew about nutrition back then. Weight about 190.

Goal (Long):
>To always improve. I would like to add over all thickness to my physique. My current needs are back and arm size. Although I will be training every bodypart as if it were lagging. The ultimate goal for now is to win a Pro Card. Once I reach that goal I will adjust accordingly.
Following Tommy's road to becoming a Natural Pro really showed me what can be accomplished with hard work and desire. He constantly pushes his strength and size to new levels and will no doubt be a pro champion.
Layne brought the world of Natural Bodybuilding to my door with his video series. He also showed me that using your brain and not listening to dogma will take you a long way in this sport. Probably doesn't hurt that he is also my nutritioncontest prep coach. Too many reasons actually, over all just a solid person who sets a great example.
Where to begin? I guess I will start from the beginning for a quick rundown and then detail the last few days. I decided to enter a bodybuilding show about a year ago. Since then I have been narrowing my focus each day until I reached this past Saturday, June 21st, 2008. 6 months ago I began...
