When I Started:
1991
How I Started:
My best friend got a small weight set in highschool and we got a book called Arnold's Modern Bodybuilding Encylopedia....it has been an addiction ever since!
Why I Love It:
I love the idea of being in control of my life in all aspects. Bodybuilding allows me to control what I look like and how I feel. This is the same as going to school for me. I would not feel well rounded if I were merely successful in one aspect of life.
Another great thing about bodybuilding is that you take it with you wherever you go. Everyone knows you take care of yourself and put in the effort to look the way you do. I get inspired when I see someone in great shape...bodybuilding is just a part of me.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation comes from always wanting to improve. Bodybuilding is just another extension of me which allows me to excel. I am always trying to improve every aspect of my life so motivation is easy for me...its time I have trouble finding.
BB Accomplishments:
Won the 2008 NPC Mid Florida Classic Novice Division, my first show.

You spend a good piece of your life gripping a barbell, and in the end it turns out that it was the other way around all the time.
This picture was taken when i was 22 years old. I was into working out but still played baseball and that came first. Oh and I never knew about nutrition back then. Weight about 190.

Where to begin? I guess I will start from the beginning for a quick rundown and then detail the last few days. I decided to enter a bodybuilding show about a year ago. Since then I have been narrowing my focus each day until I reached this past Saturday, June 21st, 2008. 6 months ago I began...
Hey I just saw your before pictures back in 2007. I have a similar body shape to you in the April 2007 picture haha. But wow man it only took you a few months afterwards to really start seeing results. What was your trick?
Yeah, man! You make me want to cut more! LOL, think I'll maintain for a while before I try and get leaner again though - gotta rest a little - 22 weeks was a long time! Yeah, I think I know some things for the next time. Man, I'd like to nail it like you did for your 1st show. Flawless, man.
looking big and ripped dude i was looking at the picture of you and cuttler dude your alot taller than him huh and you dont look small beside him either good job.
I think you're gonna do this, man... gettin that pro card seems to be in the bag, in my opinion. Your size/development is awesome, and your conditioning was sick for the last show, so... Good luck, man!
its awesome how many progress pics you have. It was cool to look through em and see how you got in better and better shape. Thats a wide back in that newest pic!
Your week by week comments are really motivating. I need to try this to see the changes in my own physique. Congrats on winninG 1ST PLACE.Good luck this year.
