When I Started:
Jul, 2007
How I Started:
Somewhere in the beginning of the year 2007, is when i realized that I was gaining weight. The relationship that i was in '02-'05 got me into eating a lot. and the stress that evolved after the break up in '05 took me into depression. It seemed to me at the time that eating out with family and friends was the source of happiness and fun for me. I started a new job at the end of '06 and met an amazing individual at work who introduce me to diet and weight lifting in July of '07. Lost some weight then gained it back & forth. Lack of motivation I would say.
Why I Love It:
Even though I am 99.9% tired in the morning from working late at night, I get up to hit the gym by 8am. I feel good after getting a serious hardcore workout. specially when i work my legs. I love doing legs. I fall in love with my legs myself when i see how they look in shorts and skirts. LOl- it gives me confidence and strength inside and out.
How I Stay Motivated:
I recently just found BodyBuilding.com and I have been impressingly motivated than when I first started training. When i have free time I browse bodyspace for inspiring women and i look at thier progress pictures and see how far they have come and what they have accomplished. it motivates me and pushes me to be able to do it as well for myself.
BB Accomplishments:
hmm, nothing major so far. I would say, loving to eat healthy, staying motivated and being consistent would be my biggest accomplishment at this point.
Looking forward to transforming my body into it's best physique and form and possibly competing in the NPC in the future. for right now, just being patient and doing this for myself.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
Deadlift... i want to be able to do this so badly and hopefully lift my own weight but i heard that if you do not have the right form, you can easily injure yourself.

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
I start with 12 on the 1st set, 10 on the 2nd and 8 on the last. it helps me gradually move up my weight as i lower my reps.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
i keep it between 60-90 secs. sometimes 30 secs. i count in my head.
so it's been a month now since i started having a strict diet and lifting as heavy as i could. I started at a weight of 105. I'm still at that weight however, I do feel that my thighs are a lot more thighter now than before. i haveĀ a little bit bulk on my biceps now but not much. I feel my...
Hey Flo. Glad to see your back and doing ok. Ya sometimes life catches up with you.
To answer your question tho. I would lay of the casein at night if your not working out. I would more use the protein since you not hitting the gym alot as a meal replacement during the day. It would do you more good. :)
Lady Flo! Sorry to hear your feeling a bit depressed. Jus remember all the progress youve made and know that your on the right track to greatness. Hope you feel better. :)
