1980,after I had my last son. 2 men at a gym asked me what I was trying accomplish. They pulled me to a real Gym. Moffetts in Mission Kansas. I loved it, they taught me the correct way to lift. Then I moved to a college area, found a track coach from OU that taught me how to put bodybuilding into my life. That was a real eye opener.
Why I Love It:
The way a body can change if your really into bodybuilding can be a motivation of it's own. I have changed so much within the last year. I had Lymes Disease for 10 years 1992-2004. The weight I put on from not being able to exercise. From 110- 137 lbs turned all to fat.
How I Stay Motivated:
The feeling I get from exercise, is so wonderful compared to feeling horrible all the time, would make you want to get up and move.
BB Accomplishments:
The challeneg to over come the Lymes was an accomplishment in it's self.
Awesome indeed! I really do enjoy hearing about people kicking their "illness" in the BUTT!!! Congrats, keep it going, and DO drop by every now and then with ur updates. Cheers! ~Dawn Melanie
Hi & WELCOME to the site. I was MIS-diagnosed with Lymes disease in 1999. Took the intravenous antibiotis and all. "Lucky" me...it's JUST multiple sclerosis. (LMAO) ~Dawn Melanie
