Overall Goal: Still working on leaner legs but I am getting closer. For right now my short term goal (very short) is to get back into my diet for my next competition.

I've always loved working out and started when I was in high school. It wasn't until my second year of college that I discovered eating clean and competing.
Why I Love It:
I love to work out because I get such a rush!! There is no other feeling like the one after a hard lifting routine or some plyometrics!!
How I Stay Motivated:
Every year I try and enter at least one figure competition.
BB Accomplishments:
I have competed in three fitness competitions, including Ms. Fitness USA! That was an experience of a life time. Then I decided to start competing in figure and I feel my journey has just begun!!
On November 17, 2008 I competed in the OCB Midwest States and I feel that I brought my best package to date. Most recently I competed in my first NPC competition at the North Star in St.Paul. It was great because I have achieved another goal, came in leaner and more conditioned. Next show in Fargo, ND March 27!!!

Still working on leaner legs but I am getting closer. For right now my short term goal (very short) is to get back into my diet for my next competition.
Goal (Long):
Well...the North Star has come and gone where I placed 2nd in my first NPC competition. My goal was to come in smaller and leaner and that is exactly what I did! For now the goal is to compete in Fargo, ND (NPC) March 27th. I will bring an even better package that will come from a tweek in my diet and continuing to train legs with HIT. I also want to compete June 5 in the Minnesota State Championships and place high enough to qualify for nationals!!! As for my bootcamp it is well under way and going fantastic!!
Last Goal Set:
Currently I am working on competing at the North Star figure competition in St.Paul MN Nov. 14th. My goal is to come in leaner and smaller than I ever have and so far I feel pretty good. My second goal is to start a boot camp in my area and start personal trainging to spread my love for fitness!!
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 10 lb

What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
I think about what body part I am going to train and start listening to my ipod, that usually does the trick. Or I will think of my goals and that works great to.

What are your secrets for making healthy food taste great?
I guess my real question is... how to you start competing? I have started a lifting program that I found out of muscle and fitness and started cutting almost 2 weeks ago... I just am having a hard time finding information because not a lot of people are decdicated enough to do this sport. how many competitions have you competed in? you look great in your profile pic. thanks for taking the time to help me out, I really appreciate it!
