When I Started:
How I Started:
I started lifting weights and taking aerobics classes when I was 16. From there, I became a certified group exercise instructor in 1996 and a certified personal trainer in 2000.
Why I Love It:
I love how working out regularly helps my positive sense of self, increased focus and discipline in other areas of my life, and being able to excel in sports and activities.
How I Stay Motivated:
My amazing husband who is incredibly motivated, disciplined, and encouraging. I also value the friendships I have made through fitness and athletics.

Competed in my first figure competition October 2008.
