How I Started:
About seven years ago, I joined WW and began a weight loss journey in which I ultimately lost 110 lb. When I began I was a staunch couch potato and determined not to exercise. About midway through I joined Curves for Women which became my first real foray into exercise. I loved the machines and ultimately segued to the university gym where I work and hired a personal trainer to teach me the ropes. I fell in love with weight training at first lift!
Why I Love It:
I love the changes it brings about in my body. I love the feeling of firm muscle, the health of my body and its strength. LOL! I love shopping and wearing stylish clothing :)
How I Stay Motivated:
I am always working toward a goal.

New Objective: build and diet down for 2010 season
Goal (Long):
Build upper body - back, shoulders, biceps, triceps
Hone and shape legs - quads, inner thighs (ugh!), hamstrings, butt, and calves
Learn how to pose - master quarter turns, model walk, and investigate Fit Body poses
She has overcome so many obstacles in her life while maintaining a positive atttitude and reaching out to help others. She is quite literally a SUPER woman!
Fern's amazing!! She completely changed her body and her life through weight lifting. All she has done she has done on her own. I admire her for her openness, honesty, her commitment to excellence, and her beauty which is not just uutside but inside where it counts.

Pam!!!!!!!! I saw you subscribed to the blog & had no idea that you were following. Honestly, that made my day! I see you are with Noel now & am curious about what happened with Dr. Joe.
