I was a three season athlete all throughout high school, but after graduating in 2003 I found myself putting on a little extra (and specifically unwanted) weight. My goal is to lose the weight and then put on some more muscle.
Why I Love It:
I feel energized, healthy and happy after good workouts. I believe working out and getting fit truly aids in ones ability to have a positive outlook on life.
How I Stay Motivated:
By documenting my progress, and talking with other people who also strive for a healthy and fit body and mind.
Also, to set an example for my children on how to properly take care of their bodies.
BB Accomplishments:
I ran a 4:48 mile, a 2:05 split for the 3200M relay, and a 23.8 split for 800M Relay. Also jumped 6'0" for high jump.

So, it has nearly been a year since my last post. I started lifting regularly about a two weeks ago. I now have a bench at home, and am staying consistent with that. Not that it was horrible, but my diet has improved as well. I have big plans for where I'll be by spring/summer and I feel having...
In the past (especially summer) I've been very cardio oriented. Lately, I've decided to step up the weightlifting routine and have backed off on cardio. I'm getting ready to start incorporating the cardio in again... slowly but surely am starting to transform my body.
Thanx man. You have a good goal. Dont try to do too much too quickly. Take the winter months to shed the pounds, add some muscle and show it off come summer time.

Youre right. Lol.. thanks. How's it all coming there. My protein order came today.. Yay. Doing really well on the eating.. though Ive taken a liking to sugar free frozen pops with a not so fat free cream in the middle.. lol.. oops.. oh well. Training not so good either.. been working 48hr weeks with work at home.. I sent you a link to one of your emails if you or Amy is interested.. and then full time school as well.. two more weeks before I will jump back in with both feet.. sad right?!
