UUUGHH -- what an embarrassment ! This was this first show I had done since the "figure criteria" had changed to a softer look. I was penalized for being too muscular :-( ironically, by the same judge who had told me in that show a year earlier, to get bigger ! We'll see what this year holds for figure, with in new bikini division added.. |

This was the biggest show I had ever done -- women from all over the world! I actually was very nervous, but did much better than I expected-- prejudging was Thurs. Feb 28 - 8pm, I made it to the top ten, which meant I had to "hold" my physique until Sat. a.m.! After that, I made it to top 5, then earning 4th place in Figure A ! I'll admit, it was bitter-sweet--after you make it that far, you want to have done better than that lol |

what a long, but exciting day !!! Everyone was so helpful-- this being my first time out :-) I placed 4th in masters 35+, which I am very proud of -- having never done this before !! And yes, I have been bitten by the competition bug :-) I'm on a quest to beat that score !!!!!! |
