How I Started:
When I got home I started seeing these oxygen magazines on the kitchen table and flipped through them. There were all of these beautiful athletic girls on every page who werent afraid to show off their bodies! America loves the thin and flimsy woman, but I was inspired by these tight fitness women that I started working out myself! I did cardio in my basement and tracked everything I ate but lost no weight and had no visible results, I actually gained 2 pounds! When I went back to college in the fall I lost my motivation to work out and made excuses, now I'm back and looking forward to seeing results. :)
Why I Love It:
It makes you feel better about yourself and your body. You feel more comfortable in your clothes and your mind is much clearer!
How I Stay Motivated:
I read oxygen magazine when I eat breakfast in the morning to remind myself why I want to do this.

Goal (Long):
I've always been ashamed to say to people that I want to diet, lose weight, and get tight-- because they always put me down and say that I don't need it. Everyone I know puts down that image and says theres nothing wrong with the way I am but I dont want to be just average. I want to look like a fitness model with a six pack and I want to get rid of the cellulite behind my legs. The worst part of my body is the back of my legs and glutes. I've always had a dimple underneath each buttocks since I can remember, but that one dimple has turned into cellulite and now it's started to go up and appear in my buttocks. I want to feel good about myself and I know that it will be a difficult road for me. I've never participated in any sports as a kid because I was too shy and all of my hobbies seem to be mellow and include sitting! All that is about to change! I want to transform my body into something I can feel good about and be proud of! This isnt for anyone else, this is for me!

Last night I had a yoga class at Bliss Life Yoga and it was NOT what I expected! It was such a workout! Holy moley I was sweating so much. These weekly yoga classes are going to count toward my workout plan. Why not add some variety, right? And today is my day of rest.

Good luck in your new quest. I'm sure you'll do just fine. Watch your carb intake; I was exercising for a long time w/zero results until I started tracking my carbs and now I've lost weight. It's different for everybody, just thought I'd share on what worked for me. Have a great day.
My wife (bodyspace judimax) and I would love to see you make your fitness goals and dreams become reality. Judimax went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 lbs and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program.
