I am so pissed at myself! I was awesome for 3 months doing the challenge with no alcohol and only a couple of cheats. I stayed true to my committment and slowly I have been falling back into my same old routine. I am still eating clean 95% of the time but the food isn't the issue....it is the wine. I have noticed how my body holds alcohol when I do drink it. My body hates it for sure and it shows! I am up about 6 lbs from where I was and I am done done done! So yesterday I was invited to do a group run with some runner friends of mine. They are serious runners that do marathons often. I was a little intimidated going because I am not a "runner". I would rather spend my time in the gym lifting weights and doing intervals on the treadmill or spin bike then a boring run. Well the transformation contest is over but I decided that this is a lifestyle change and not just a contest or a 3 month short term plan. I have had a few cheats (frozen yogurt, a couple glasses of wine, and sushi) so I am not as strict as I was doing the contest. I have realized everything I put in my mouth affects my body though. If I drink wine I notice how bloated I am the next day. I also don't even have to hop on the scale now because I am so in tuned with my body I know what I weigh by... Go to BodyBlog
