I guess I always wanted to but I repressed it cause I was so fat and out of shape I thought it would be absurd!
When I turned 50, I thought this is my last chance so I joined a gym. But even then, the progress didn't come until all the peices came together at age 55; right attitude, right trainer, right gym, etc.
Why I Love It:
My self esteem has increased so! I know I have a long way to come but I acknowledge how far I have progressed already!
How I Stay Motivated:
Every time I find a new muscle popping out LOL.

Not yet

starting out-at my highest weight- about 265# and 35% bf and 46+ waist!
Monday I start a 12 week transformation challenge. Wish me luck!
Man I have been fat all my life. I was born fat and waited 50+ years for the baby fat to disappear. Guess what? It didn't happen.
The past year has been great! Found the best trainer (Josh Katz) the best gym (Fitness City Matawan NJ), a super nutrition coach (Pat Greico at Mindless Meals Cafe) and a bunch of huge guys who encourage, support, share and make me feel like on the group! And surprise-progress happens! decreased BF% by 50 %; lost about 30 pounds, gained muscle and on and on.
I want to losr 20 pounds of fat while maintaining or increasing lean muscle mass.
Now we will see just how far an old guy like me can go!
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 20 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
7%
Upcoming Contest:
I would be honored to be chosen as the Transformation of the Month on bodybuilding.com!

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
My nutrition plan is guided by my nutrition coach, Pat Greico ( www.mindlessmeals.com ) It is basically 5 or 6 meals throughout the day with measured amounts of protein, carbs and fats. I know that I am not supposed to weigh myself;
and I know that all scales need to be thrown out the window;
and I know that there are many reasons why one loses or gains weight....
however, all that being said, tonight at Bayshore on the same scale I have been weighing my self for years,...
Wow! Great work! I can't believe you've dropped so much body fat % in such a good amount of time. A lot of people get discourgaed because the results sometimes come so slow. Keep it up!
Mike, how's the "season" going? I'm actually starting to slow down a bit as my large accelerated filer is nearly ready to file. Looks like you've made some awesome progress. How's the 12 week challenge going?
Hi Mike! Thanks for the blog comment. I am taking Cytolean by Gaspari Nutrition! Great fat burner, no jittery effect! You'll love it. I really think with the right supplements, DIET, and training... anyone can create an amazing body! Good luck on your fitness goals.
