When I Started:
May, 2006
How I Started:
I picked up an issue of Oxygen magazine that had results from a pro fitness competition. I immediately fell in love with the strength and beauty of the competitors. I wanted that body, but work related injuries prevent me from entering fitness. I then found my perfect match when I discovered figure. I'm addicted!
Why I Love It:
I have a love for the F word. Fitness that is. I am always trying to learn new things and training concepts to improve my body and mind. A well planned workout executed flawlessly helps me settle my mind after a long hard day at work. I also enjoy seeing the results of consistent hard work both on and off stage. I love lifting heavier in the gym. I love being able to truly hang with the boys at work.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation comes from my determination. I refuse to lose. Failure is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Embrace the challenge. If it has been done, you can also do it. Never stop.
BB Accomplishments:
Overall win at 2007 Battle on the Bluff Figure

Depends on the goal of the training but usually 3 to 5 sets.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
Depends if I'm doing circuits, intervals, supersets, or straight sets. But usually not more than minute unless I'm lifting heavy with only 4 to 6 reps per set.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Sorry, I can't think of one. I think most of them are too skinny.
