I started working out when I was in college and have continued to workout off and on since then. In the past I was told that I should compete. I contemplated it on several occasions but I felt my life was too chaotic and I didn't have the emotional support to make that commitment. I can make that commitment now, so here I am!
Why I Love It:
Ever since I was introduced to bodybuilding in college, I have been a big fan. What is there not to like? MUSCLES...Can you say SEXY? It keeps you healthy, sane, and easy on the eyes.
How I Stay Motivated:
My motivation comes from my experience at my last competition. Now that I'm working with a new trainer, I know 2009 will bring positive change and more muscle. My training partner, Jim, keeps me focused. Not to mention, my 9 year old son loves his Mom with muscles!
BB Accomplishments:
4th place Women's Heavyweight - NPC Cincinnati Championships 4/12/08
8th place Women's Heavyweight - NPC Cincinnati Championships 4/11/09
5th place Women's Middleweight - NPC Pittsburgh Championships 5/02/09

He is my training partner and no one trains any harder. He pushes me alot while we train especially when we go heavy. He also was my biggest supporter throughout my 6 month contest prep which was toture by Bartolovich (LOL).
D is my girl! We have the same trainer & he puts us thru our paces in contest prep. She is one of the most committed people I know & she is going to rock the stage in September! She's my evil twin!!!!
I dropped by to see how you are doing and ask how things are going? I hope that all is well and that your motivation is staying high. If there is ever anything that I can do to be of assistance please feel free to give me a yell. Remember:”If you will not settle for anything less than your best, you will be amazed at what you can accomplish in your life.”
I just stopped by to wish you nothing but success as you work towards your fitness goal. Too many people think it can’t be done and you have proven that with hard work and dedication that it can. Well done. Keep up the great work. I look forward to watching your continuing progress. Stay strong, focused and determined.
