When I Started:
Aug, 2007
How I Started:
I have always been pretty athletic and active since I was a kid. I played sports in high school which kept me in pretty good shape. I started working out off and on last year with my ex but after we broke up I completely stopped. I really started getting serious about changing my body a few months ago after watching True Life, "I Want the Perfect Body II", the one with the girl who wanted to be a fitness model. She inspired me.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it relieves my stress from work and everyday life as well as keep me healthy and looking fabulous.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing the many women and men on bodyspace have been a huge motivational factor as well as looking in the mirror and seeing all the areas I don't like.

Here's a photo of my right arm taken yesterday. Hopefully in a few weeks to a month I will have less fat and more definition.
There's a little progress but not alot. I'm still working on it.
10 to 15 reps per set. I read in a few fitness mags that 10 to 15 reps will suffice.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
Before I got heavy into the fitness game, I always tired to eat healthy. About a few months ago(Feb) I totally gave up beef and pork. I did this because every time I ate beef or pork I felt like it weighed me down and I felt sluggish and tired all the time. Now that I've given it up, I feel much more energized. I currently eat chicken(occasionally), turkey and fish. I limit fried foods in my diet as well. My breakfast consist of oatmeal every weekday and a healthy cereal on the weekends. Lunch consists of maybe a salad and fruits. My dinners are mostly meatless although I still need a little work on planning out my meals better. Many of them aren't as healthy as they should be.
