Overall Goal: It's a New Year! I'm re-dedicating myself to being as fit and healthy as I can be, in the '09. I fell down, but I'm slowly getting back up!!

How I Started:
I've been working out off and on for most of my adult life. Now, I'm at the point where I MUST work out consistently, for my health, and to shed these many unwanted pounds!
Why I Love It:
When I AM working out consistently, I love the extra boost of energy and confidence that I gain. I also love that I've taken some time out of my crazy day, to devote solely to the betterment of ME!
How I Stay Motivated:
Well, that's where I'm having the trouble - staying motivated. I'm hoping that joining BodySpace will give me the extra push that I need, to maintain the course/achieve my end goal. My two beautiful daughters also keep me motivated, as I want to pass on a lifetime of healthy habits to them!

Goal (Long):
-To committ to a lifestyle change of "clean" nutrition/eating, and fitness, where working out becomes "second nature" to me, and my body craves good, healthy foods, all the time!
- To reach my goal weight of 140-150lbs by next August.
- To significantly decrease my bodyfat, from its current levels (approx 42% - Yuck!)
- To significantly change the overall shape and tone of my bod, enough so that I can wear a two-piece bathing suit by next summer.
- To be able to complete 20 "man version" pushups by August 09.
- To be able to complete 20 straight-legged Tricep Dips by August 09.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 75 lb

hey lady..do yall have any indoor pools, cuz u KNOW im not swimming in the cold! lol..tried the pool once last week..hair was wrapped+swim cap..STILL got wet!! *sighs* i c HOW ur mom coulda lost 20lbs..i had me and the hubby sore when we got out! lol..how was ur wkend?
Hey girl! i am so glad to c u back! i missed u like we was old roomates!lol! i am going to a nutritionist for this competition, he does the diet for pro competitors and he is reasonable. Let me know if u wanna check him out on the internet. I wish my husband would at least try, u should b thankful for him in the challenge with u! glad ur back!
