I have worked out off and on for years. Losing weight and gaining it back in no time. I am a single mother of a teenage girl that is BiPolar and ADHD. Raising her on my own is tough. I was stressed and fighting depression. My mom suggested I that I started working out again. Over time I lost 70lbs and since then have been working on maintaining my weight and lowering my body fat. I have maintained my weight for over a year and just recently lowered my body fat from 28% to 18.7%.
Why I Love It:
I feel accomplished knowing that I can do what I have set out to do in the past. It is my time to be selfish and think about me. I love to run while listening to my mp3 and shut the rest of the world out.
I love working out and being fit so much that I have gone back to school to get a degree in Kinesiology; Fitness Evaluation.
How I Stay Motivated:
I set attainable goals, small goals. Setting a goal to high and not reaching it, can set you back.....it has for me in the past. I also try new forms of exercise, so I don't get bored.
BB Accomplishments:
lost 70lbs and kept it off for over 1 year....also dropped my body fat down to 18.7%

This picture was taken when first start make progress....had lost 20lbs....was at 190lbs...can really see the difference in my face
I have lost 10lbs since I started my bodyspace. Not sure about my bodyfat, but I feel really good!!!
I want to loose a few more pounds and reduce my body fat
Goal (Long):
I want to maintain all the changes I have made to my body and continue to improve. I have always read the success stories in Self or Fitness magazine about people that have successfully lost weight and kept it off for more than a year. I have always wanted to have my own success story printed in one of the magazines (or both...LOL!!)
Here is the scoop....I won my appeal (Thank God!) and am able to return to school. My classes are even more demanding this semester than last semester. I am still working out, but am not taking the time to track my workouts. I know what I have been doing and I can feel it too.
see my workout tracker. I like to work my whole body and will spend a couple hours at the gym on the days I am using weights. I also will do cardio on the off days. Most of the time I workout 3 days a week with cardio and 3 days a week with some cardio to warm up and then weights.
I've been there a few times and always look for the "hot cart girl" but you are hard to track down. Steve Q called me and offered me a division job working directly under him. Scary to think about!!! Happy holidays sweetie. :)
looks like you have been working abs a little ... when you tan ... I think it brings out more because it creates more shadow and dark spots ..but stay strong stay healthy.
