How I Started:
I love being outside and moving the gift that God has given me-a perfectly healthy body. I've always pushed myself academically and I want to apply the same dedication to my physical health.
Why I Love It:
I like working toward goals. I set them and try very hard to accomplish them. Bodybuilding is order to me. It represents the time when I can disengage from the demands of the rest of my life.
How I Stay Motivated:
Taking pictures and tracking progress. I've always thought bodybuilding was the most sophisticated form of narcissism...and I sure like looking at my self as a constant arena of improvment.

I had been lifting for about 6 months straigint and on and off for 2 yrs before this. I hzd not started an effort to loose bodyfat.
Again, I'll use this for comparison in about 12-14 weeks. I want to see some major changes!!!
My goal weight is 130 and I'm was only 6lb away. Summer got to me and now i'm getting back on track.
Goal (Long):
The plan:
1. 4 day split with cardio. 2 day pure cardio (7+mi runs). 1 day of rest. Repeat!
2. Intake: 1800 cal/day with limited starches later in the day. Reevaluate to get to May goal.
3. Reap the (beautiful) rewards and look super when i start grad school in the fall!
OMG you should see my refrigerator. It is so colorful. I feel great and less bloated too since i'm eating less sodium. My lifting routine went well. I was sore with shoulders and chest...back not so much. I am so excited to start up again and finally achieve my ab definition goal. I froze a mix...
My triatholon training had to end. I got orders to deploy to Iraq in Sept so I'm just sticking to the basic weights and cardio program I was on before. How bout you? GOD I LOVE YOUR LEGS!!!
