My dad lifted when I was little and always wanted to compete together. Now I am preparing to compete in bodybuilding, I want him to be proud. I also want to make sure I don't get stuck in mommy mode, I love being a mom but I need to have me time.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy pushing myself and reaching for goals. God only gives us one body, we need to take care of it.
How I Stay Motivated:
My husband and kids, I want to be here for them. I also want to teach my kids how to be healthy and to reach for there goals. I count on God's guidance and strength to push me through when I want to give up. He always comes through for me!
BB Accomplishments:
Oct. 11 first figure competition and taking second.
Done with the spring competitions, now I am going to work on growing for the next round. Also hoping to find a sponsor.
Goal (Long):
I have been working hard to build more muscle since my last competition, now my goal is to keep as much of it as possible as I prepare to compete again. The most important thing to me is to make sure my family comes first, I tend to get caught up in the prep.
What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Keep yourself around like minded people and stay in magazines or whatever will keep you motivated (who doesn't want to look like the people in things like Flex).

Before I left for the gym this morning I put my dogs out so they could play before the rain. Unfortunately the rain came sooner then I thought. It started raining hard right before I got home. I hosed down the two boxers before they came in the house, but my newfy needed a full bath (she...
I hope that you are doing great and that there is a sponsor just around the corner.
Stay strong, determined and focused and may God bless.
Remember: “God didn't promise you a day without pain, laughter without sorrow or sun without rain.
But He did promise you strength for the day, comfort for your tears and a light for your way.”
you are a warrior, behind enemy lines...your light breaks barriers and shines through darkness, leading all who see it out of the dark and into the truth. Stay strong and true to whats inside of you, the Holy Spirit. You will be given your harvest soon enough
