When I Started: 1987
How I Started: I started lifting 1980's for better Marine physical fitness scores. My legs developed quick but took years to build upper body. Became AFAA certified 1990's & taught aerobics for a few years. Part of my job as a Marine was to help other Marines maintain proper weight/ physical standards. I learned early on that having a muscular build boosts metabolism to burn fat.

Military retirement, my case worker job and having three miscarriages left me flabby. I decided to quit my job & get back into shape before my 40th B-day. I changed the way I ate and slowly trained to avoid injuries. I use more ice on my knees these days but can still achieve great results.
Why I Love It: I train because I love to eat! I'm fortunate to not work at the moment and am able to devote so much time for training.
How I Stay Motivated: The thought of getting older and looking it!
BB Accomplishments: Looking to compete and win in either my height or masters class this winter.
