I have lifted weights off and on since I was in middle school back in 1993 but until recently wasn't all that serious about it! The guy I work with on the ambulance, SwollMedic on bodybuilding.com, has helped me ALOT and gotten my diet right and helped me bump up my workout program and that is how I have lost the 55lbs. and made the progress I have made in only about 2 to 3 months!!
Why I Love It:
I LOVE to feel the pump from working out and it gives me the energy I want and need!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by the progress I see as I lose the fat and gain the muscle like I want. Also, I want to be the best at everything I do and the only way to do that is to get into the best shape of my life!
BB Accomplishments:
Since I really started pushing myself about 2 or 3 months ago and sticking with it and eating right I have lost 55lbs of fat and gained some muscle definition! Also, my weightlifting has really went up alot! I can lift alot heavier now than I ever have in my life.
I wanna just lose fat and be able to find a way to keep it off and gain/keep muscle! I am gonna bust my ass to get there! I wanna lose down to 200lbs. Which means I've got 150lbs. to go!
Heck yea I trained like a BIT&* today!!!! Least I'm training right:)!!! It's back day tomorrow so get ready SB!!!Holla and dont run your tail off tonight!!!Train Hard!!!BC aka Swollmedic....
Also check out my diets on my blog, and check out www.nutritiondata.com to see what you have been eating. It's rather shocking and informative. Just remember, you must burn more calories than you take in. Stay Focused and don't burn yourself out too early. Good Luck Brother
Sounds like you're doing the right thing. Just keep working hard at it. It is not going to happen over night. The shitty part is, your midsection is the last place to notice improvement. Your neck and extremities will get thin before you start seeing your waist shrink. Lower your carbs for a few weeks and be sure to eat more often, but smaller meals. It'll suck and your energy levels will be really low, but it'll be worth it. Also try lowering your daily caloric intake a few hundred.
Thanks very much. That's awsome that you're a swat medic. those guys are the best! Looks like your on track with everything. Just stick with it, never, never give up.
Stay Focused and Motivated. It's going to take time but it can be done. Diet is more important than the working out, but while you are in the gym do some high rep (15-20) lighter weight sets and keep that heart rate up. Be safe out there on the streets as well and motivate each other into bettering yourselves.
thank you for the add. you said it all right there in your caption... pain is temporary...pride is forever. definitely agree on that. good luck to you :)
