I suggest you check out the 12-week Body for Life program. It really works at getting rid of bodyfat as well as getting you into great shape. It gives you a great nutrition plan along with both weightlifting and cardio routines. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 lbs going from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks with the BFL program. We were both amazed at the results and you may be too. Let us know if you would like more info.

Your right in wanting to raise the bar in your family. I'm trying to do that very same thing and I'll admit it is tough. Through the battles though, you get stronger. Get past week 7, that was the hardest for me, after that it was just habit. Hope to see you around! -Josh
