When I Started:
May, 2006
How I Started:
I wrestled in college, left to become a firefighter/paramedic. Just between the job and trying to find something that I enjoyed as much as wrestling I found bodybuilding and weight lifting and fell in love.
Why I Love It:
It keeps me sane! Its an awesome outlet, I get into the gym and get intense! Ive just found that its something that has started to define me, I know that sounds crazy but I love the passion that I have found for it. Im always thinking about it and the biggest thing is, it makes me happy and thats what life for me is really about, being happy.
How I Stay Motivated:
Striving to be the best that I can. Goals! Weight lifting and body building is nothing without having goals, its nice to look back on my stat books and work out notes, along with the pictures of the past year and a half and seeing how my body has evolved, because its a truth in life that you dont know where you are going if you cant look back and see where youve been!

If you're not first your last. And if you're not the best, the biggest, and the strongest then you're not done training!
Ahh where to begin? Its been awhile since my last post, and things have been hectic! Between school finishing up and this show coming up at the end of the month i dont know what to do with myself and how to manage my training time and study time between work and everything else! To tell you...
You are looking amazing keep it up BRO! How's training going? Hey if you get a chance check out my website. think there might be some stuff on there you might like. (Link on my Bodyspace Page)
hey ian, what department are you on? I see your in cuyahoga county area, I work for the clinic now. Pics look great you really got shreded up for your shows. Great job brother
ian, my holiday and new year's was great! i caught a bit of bronchitis which i'm still fighting off the last bit. I'm implenting your dieting right now actually, and i plan on upping the cardio soon as i'm 100%. I hope your holiday was great too man! i noticed that we listen to the same workout music! awesome.
has anyone ever told you, you're sexy in red?! lol you look great babe, and if you can tell me to get on the cables, i can tell you to stop your belly-aching about being sore!! :D
That's awesome! you're truly an expert in nutrition and excercise then! i would much appreciate your regimen for bulking up and cutting down/dieting. I'm also looking to shock my muscles and doing different things! i'll pm you my email. Oh, i'm an optometrist. Congrats on finishing paramedic school. I use to work in the ER, you guys are great.
I've been good, just getting back on the saddle after dealing with a pretty bad cold for 2 weeks. All i could do was see my patients, then go home and sleep! i've lost some weight, but i'm going to gain it back! i'd like to get up to 190 before I cut down again. I would love to be as cut as you at 180, so i'm going to take to heart the routine you did. Life has been good, i've been in school for 22 years, so it's good to get my career going! where are you in your firefighting saga?
awesome man! you're such a positive guy, that is great to hear it was a great experience for you! thanks for letting me know about the cut down routine you did. Do you feel hydroxycut helps?
Training has really been going great. I have targeted my week points and working on building them up. Been taking some lean mass weight gainers. I can't wait to get back on creatine again I will do that for 2 or 3 months. Hows training going for you bro?
-T-
hey firefightingian! so good to hear from you. I'm leaning up a bit right now, but it has been hard to train because i have sciatica from a herniated disc (8 months ago). I'm doing lighter weights, and more swimming as a result...i went from 184 to 177 in 1 week. i'm hoping i heal by november so that i can gain mass again. hows training for you?
Hi! I wanted to stop in to see how things are going for you. I still would love to see you compete. You have the right body structure to become a pro one day. Good luck!
