When I Started:
May, 1998
How I Started:
PRIOR TO THE SARATOGA COMPETITION, I DIDN'T HAVE THE DESIRE TO BE IN A FITNESS COMPETITION. THE COMPETITIONS PROMOTER PICKED ME UP AND TRAINED ME FOR THE SHOW WHILE VISITED AN ALBANY GOLD'S GYM THAT I WAS WORKING OUT AT. I ONLY HAD 7 WEEKS TO DIET DOWN FOR THIS CONTEST. UNFORTUNATELY, I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO ADD ANY MUSCLE BEFORE COMPETING IN THIS CONTEST! I DID ENJOY THE CONTEST THOUGH AND I AM ADDICTED.
Why I Love It:
It gives me strength, not just physically but mentally. I feel better after I work out, regardless of whats going on in my life. I thrive from it.
How I Stay Motivated:
Searching for inner peace. Eating very clean, getting enough sleep, and drive.
BB Accomplishments:
In my first competition: MuscleMania/Fitness Universe of Saratoga: I placed 2nd in Figure Modeling and 3rd in Fitness Modeling. I love competing.

I would love to add more lean muscle, stay healthy and continue to compete.
Goal (Long):
I want to gain 15 pounds of lean muscle by August 2008.
I do not currently have a competition in mind, but ideally would like to find a close fall figure competition.
i love competing and the lifestyle that goes with it.
Currently, my trainers have me working out in a program called 1/3's. Its really difficult and a great shock to your muscles. Its like 21's for your biceps except you use on your whole body.

Hey Linda! Sorry I have not seen you on the boards! You were always an inspiration and motivated me to go on the days I was not feeling energetic! Best of Luck!
Just admiring your progress. :) I'm doing good. I had a stint where I was really stressed out and lost weight but I have rebounded back and kicking ass! I don't want to compete or anything (maybe powerlifting in the future) but I'd love to get back into MMA.
