Wow that's pretty amazing the pier used to be so much longer. I always thought it seemed short so that explains it. I can't imagine being a lifeguard in OC!

Thank you! That was my first 5k. I ran another one yesterday but was 90 seconds slower. I think the heat got to me! I'm looking forward to the next race to improve my time.
