Why I Love It:
Too many reasons to list. The feeling of pushing yourself to your limits, the challenge of lifting heavier each session, the incredible feeling of accomplishment after a good session, the stress relief, the endorphins, the compliments :) I could go on and on...
How I Stay Motivated:
Small goals such as dropping a percent in body fat, or lifting heavier than the week before, reminding myself of all the hard work and commitment I put in each day compared to the person who does nothing. My husband is a huge inspiration. Always pushing forward despite many obstacles.

Your attitude towards life defines not only who you are, but the quality of life you are after. DO WORK.
Goal (Long):
I have been training my heart out for years but have never really been able to see the results of my hard work. At the start of 2009 I hired a nutritionist and for the first time in years, my body fat started dropping. My goal for now is to get down to 12%. So far I've dropped from 20 to 15% which to me is a big achievement. I need to work really hard on my discipline. Some weeks I'm spot on, others I seem to find every excuse to eat foods not on my diet. I use stress and tiredness as excuses and need to work on sticking to my goals and commitment to getting lean, no matter what the circumstances. I would love to do a photoshoot for myself in the near future to show off all my hard work and dedication.
Why I like this video: If you're ever feeling down, that you've had a bad training session, that you're not growing/leaning out, that the world is against you...watch this. Who are WE to complain when a guy like this is so happy and content with his life?!
So for the last 3 days I've been beaten down by some weird virus and feel like crap. It started with serious body aches - it felt like every muscle, bone and joint was throbbing. Then that went away only to be replaced by really bad stomach cramps, nausea and loss of appetite ( yay lol). So...

Strengthening the paraspinal muscles with weight training, as well as posing practice for competing, have had a huge impact on not only the appearance of a straight spine, but actually lessening the degree of curvature. I've had to be patient in building strength, and I still have issues with compression from above (like squats), but my experience has been very positive.
Hi! Sorry to learn you are a scoliosis victim as well! :( I have used chiropractic since childhood, and I have found that lifting has helped my spine a lot.
