I got divorced and thought it was time to improve my appearance.
Why I Love It:
Working out just makes me feel better.
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing I'm not getting any younger, but that I'm looking better than ever is pretty motivating. (oh yeah, plus the positive comments you get on BB.COM)

Goal (Long):
I would like to compete at least 4 times in 2008. At each contest, I would like to show some improvement..ie, better conditioning, a more commanding stage presence, better routine, etc. I cannot be worried about what the other competitors come with, I can only strive to improve myself at each event. Regardless of the outcome of the shows, I want to have fun and be glad that I am able to participate in such a cool sport.
Just returned from the 2007 INBFWashington State Natural show in Arlington, WA (just north of Seattle) produced by Kevin and Denise James. This show was a total blast. I couldn't believe how nice everyone was....the competitors (not a single arrogant ass in the bunch), staff (very helpful...
Hey I was thinking that if Kev and Denise wanted to come on Sunday it would be great for everybody to get together again..... Just a thought, wish us luck!!
Sounds great Mark! We have really been trying for our best. I would like to be bigger, leaner...richer, better looking etc etc but am thankful for where I am right now. Julie looks GREAT and I really want to see her win this thing! She has already won in my book as her determination and focus have been really fun to watch. I will give you a call Saturday! Wish you guys were there:)
If that is the case then maybe I will find something else. We have some here but they are all Non-Drug tested events. I may enter one anyway just because there is 3 of them equally spread apart in the year, and all in town. It could be good practice.
No show picked yet. You know me, I'm in, then I am on hold for work or something. Excuses really. I am trying ,again, to get ready for a Spring show. I should have this contest prep thing down pat now!! I will stay in touch and let you know. Been wanting to do the Mile High for years, may go up for that next year. I'm not big enough to competet in Texas...everythings bigger...Later.

Denise Won her pro masters figure card at the show and she took 3rd place in women's pro body building. She looked awsome! She had a blast and I'm so proud of her!!
