Lifted heavily during college. Made great gains in one year's time, but stopped lifting.
Why I Love It:
I love to push myself, journal, and reach new levels of strength and muscularity. I also love feeling healthy and eating healthy.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am motivated to get into the best shape of my life now that my daughters are older and I once again have the time to workout. Getting big naturally also motivates me. I grew up being fed the 'roid physiques in magazines, and having moved past that false world, I want to see what the true human body can accomplish with hard work and not drugs.
BB Accomplishments:
Before I quit lifting in 1997, I was benching 375 for reps, performing overhead dumbbell presses with 120's, and squatting for reps at 450 pounds. I have natural strength, and a natural ability to put on muscle, but I also can stack on fat quite easily.
Regain strength, drop body fat to 10% while gaining muscle.
Goal (Long):
I am starting my hardcore lifting program in July 2007, after a 10 year break. I am currently at 34.2 % body fat, and want to drop under 20% by the end of the year while finding a way to gain muscle mass. I will be measuring my bodyfat via a caliper weekly, and tweaking my caloric intake appropriately. I will be using a variation of Dr. Squat's Zig Zag diet, eating more calories on my lifting days, and less on non-exercise days.
What's good man????? It's been a minute since I heard from you! Yea, I am still trying to make some progress down here. It's been a little harder with school, work, and the family, but I still plan being in a competition one day so I got to work. Dude, you are looking good in your progress picture!!! What are you doing?

Really enjoy/appreciate your youtube videos. I stumbled across them before starting my own 30 Days of the Warrior Diet the beginning of this month. Really responding well to it. I post about once a week in my blog with some updates. So far so good. Look forward to your next video update.
