(This is just a rotational workout and has nothing to do with the 7 day week, I like the variety it provides instead of set routines that have those "ahh I hate Wednesday because that's my _____ day")
Minimum 10-15 minute cardiovascular activity before lifting, and warm-up sets before intensifying. Start off with your multijoint workouts first when your energy is at its best. General rule is 3 sets of 8-10 of most everything and I love to superset alot of things (never the same muscle of course) to really bring up the intensity. It isn't a good workout unless my heart is pushing 165bpm and sweat is running down my face. I try to switch different muscles/techniques on machines weekly to keep the body in check. Also working out is only half of the battle, what you eat is just as important, what you put into your body or lack of greatly affects my motivation and progress. Eat hardy, train harder. You never have to get back into shape if you never fall out of it :D
