Before After

July 4, 2007 134 ponds Oct 27, 2007 105 pounds
This is the day that I decided to compete again. Wow...I was quite bad! I do not miss that type of conditioning at all. I weighed 134 lbs with I don't want to know bodyfat %! See, I have binged and drank more than one glass of wine a few times a week sometimes too! I just lost focus, did not care about myself and felt sorry for myself. So I found comfort in food to deal with "life". Not a good idea...see.
I lost 29 lbs, weighed 105 lbs and 7% bodyfat. Much happier now. Unfortunately staying this lean is not very realistic. I will soon be back at 115 lbs and maintaining this weight. I always ate healthly during my life...see, my stepmom was always on a "diet" which actually turned out good for me. I acquired a taste for "healthier foods" such as skim milk, no butter or mayo, no fried foods, and my one bad habit of drinking lots of diet Coke...love the stuff!! I have cut back from 3 liters to 12 oz per day! Anyway, the point is that to stay healthier and leaner, you have to adopt a particular lifestyle of healthy eating habits everyday with occasional cheating if needed. But once you eat healthy foods consistently, you find that you do not crave those fatty and sugar-filled foods. Your metabolism does play a big role in how your body will process carbs, protein and fats which can vary greatly from person to person. Last thing, I do indulge sometimes, approx 2X/week, will have a glass or two of Merlot...for the antioxidant benefit of course! And sometimes I will go months without any alcohol. If want to read more...go to the Body Transformation as linked in my favorites. I hope the article will help you get motivated.

Arizona Pro Figure at 110 pounds

I weighed 110 lbs here and my legs were not as lean as they normally are for competition...this cost me the win. So I just continued to diet and train and didn't look back.
