How I Started:
I've decided to make a change for the better for my life and body. After 1 child and 1 on the way, I'm at the heaviest I've ever been. I had been an amateur bodybuilder in the past and competed in many sports tournaments as well. Somewhere along the way, I lost track. Now I want to get back to my old shape so I can compete again and have the energy to play with my 2 sons even more.
Why I Love It:
The feeling you get when you break through a plateau. Being able to see changes in my body and energy levels.
How I Stay Motivated:
My wife, my children, my faith.
BB Accomplishments:
No contests, at my prime was 240 with 8%. Being able to spike a 90mph volleyball down at the 10ft line wasn't too shabby either.

Goal (Long):
After 25 years of fitness and constant sport and military training, I fell into a rut for 6 years. I thought taking care of my wife and children is all I needed to worry about, but I want to get to my old shape so I can have the energy to play with my sons the way they deserve.
Overall goal: 210-220 lean. Short term goals: 2 lb a week until I reach my ultimate goal.

I'm starting off with higher repetitions to get my muscles used to the lifting again. Past sports injuries forced me to be more aware with my range of motion while I start off.
Right now I'm doing 4 days a week, 2-3 muscle groups per day. I usually do about 3-4 sets of 15 reps with 2 min rest...
