So one week and a half later and 1.5lb lighter.... Sure it's better than nothing but I wish it was a bit more….. Oh well, the goal is to be consistent. So I will focus on going to the gym everyday, and I mean EVERYDAY. I will not do weights everyday that’s for sure, but on my off...
Great Job on the 10 lbs weight loss so far!
You look great by the way...keep up the good work
I wish you and your family a blessed Holiday and a Happy New Year!
Been there, done that. Just pick up where you left off and take it one day at a time. You can do this!!! 20 minutes of High intensity training 3x per week has been a big help for me.
It's me again. For the past 6 weeks I've been doing circuit training with light weights (5-20lbs) daily. It was more for cardio than strength training to burn the fat, but I like it because the weights help maintain my muscle mass. Now that I'm starting the CKD again I will be doing monday heavy upper body, tuesday heavy lower body, and friday moderate to heavy total body using the Firm's workout tapes. I use free weights at home.
Hey, I'm not sure about fat%, but any protein and fat diet that puts you in ketosis is a keto diet (ketosis occurs when you go under 40g carbs for some people, but under 20g carbs works for most everyone). I just started on CKD again yesterday and doing the plan from the keto forum with 65% fat. Can't believe I'm in ketosis already it usually takes me 3 days.
My eating habits consist of six meals a day spaced out 2-3 hours apart depending on how I feel. I eat a carb and a protein with each meal. and, a veggie with at least 2 meals. That's the Body-For-Life plan. Although most articles I've read here also say do six small meals a day.
Last week, I actually changed it up a bit and ate a veggie at most meals and cut out the rice/poatatoes. It helped I think.
good to see there are normal people trying to reach their goals. It's very intimidated just looking at all this buffed people on the site yet somehow inspiring. good job girl!!!
The only to not overeat is to weigh meals, you're right about that. Is the program enjoyable though? I've heard about keto but don't know much about it.
Hi there Canada. As a fellow Canadian I wish you much success with all of your goals. How are the workouts going? Are you getting out of them what you want? Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
Believe in yourself.
