Goal (Long): to be able to look in the mirror and not think "how have you let yourself get like this fatboy" to live a healthy lifestyle all the time and not just in spurts when i think about it. To set a good example for my children and when the time comes my grandchildren

Well Masters meaning that you are past 35 you still keep up w/urself? and one of the judges dare tells me I didn't place higher because competing in Class A was just harder to compete w/the young ones that automatically have it? BS.. I do not have cellulitis as some at 25 do! I am 6% lean and wanted to tell him he needed to get in better shape himself! DORK!! but.. all good as long as I know I'm in shape and know to ignore stupidity from others.

they do work to some degree, normally have to follow some sort of protocol though for accuracey, i.e limit food and fluid intake, varies with each brand.

Great question! I have reached a point where I am not progressing anymore using my own workouts. My trainer changed my diet and workouts to stimulate muscle growth. So far, I have been very sore...which leads me to believe hiring him was the best thing I could have done!!

Thank you! No, at first i just wanted to lose weight and look good. Then i started to see some women taking it to the next level and it started to interest me. I did my research on it and finally committed to doing a show. I have since been hooked!

We (the Captain and I) are very happy to be able to tell our story but we don't think of ourselves as anyone special We really want everyone to know that ANYONE can do it they just have to want to make the change such as yourself, you're ready to push that little bit hard and longer. Except for showing off at a local student club fair, I've not sparred in ages, and when I last did against a competent opponent, I realized how rusty I'd already become from having long lost my best sparring partners (to graduation, fatherhood and similar nonsense). Do I miss it? HELL YES!!
