How I Started:
I am getting started because I really gained a lot of weight over the past 10 years, from hovering at 205 at that time to 315 now. It's time to go back to where I was fitness wise.
Why I Love It:
I love that feeling you get when you finish working out. I really like being able to be active!
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation has been my downfall in the past. It will be one of my MAIN focus factors this time around. I usually can stay focused great for the first month, and somewhere in there I lose focus.

I need to lose the weight that I have gained over the past 10 years. Starting now, I will change my current patterns, and self-destructive actions. Apparently what choices I have made led me to where I am, and I need to make better choices for myself. The end result I will accomplish will be single digit bodyfat. I will lower my cholesterol, and have a better life.

Heh, I am almost your twin and 4 years younger. I am hoping to lose the same amount of weight by the same date as well. Would love to weight 200 again or even 190ish. In the past 2 years I have intended on doing this but.. motivation and excuses have kept me from sticking to anything. Maybe we can motivate and encourage each other. Here's to a great start in 2009. Let's work hard at this, it can't be that hard if excuses are tossed aside.
Hey man, thanks for the comment! I know how hard it is to do what we're doing. The important thing to remember that we're doing this for ourselves, and not only that, we owe it to ourselves. I don't know about you, but meeting that first milestone feels damn good!
Great job losing 20 pounds!! Keep hitting the gym and the results will come sooner than ou think! Just remeber to keep ur diet clean!
