How I Started:
I have always been in awe of heavily muscled men, and have had a gym membership for years. However, never really set short-term goals for myself. Am hoping, now, to track progress toward short-term goals, then reassessing those goals.

Goal (Long):
I want to feel better about myself, feel stronger, look better, and increase my confidence. I want to be able to take my shirt off with confidence and without shame. I don't need to have a six pack set of abs, but I want a flat stomach and arms of a guy who "obviously lifts."
Well, still haven't made it back to the gym as of yet (very busy with work with early mtgs/appts, and kids with homework early evening), but I DID get up and go for a run -- well, WALK -- on Monday and today. Today is Halloween, so after I get my kids settled this evening (14 and 11), I think...
