How I Started:
Since high school, I’ve always had a bench and weights at home and fairly consistently did a bodyweight workout but never stayed at it or took it seriously. Three years ago my back went out. After seeing a therapist, it took most of a year me to feel better. I started cycling again and got back into using my (light) weights.
I’ve been fortunate that my bad eating habits never really caught up to me, but I’m seeing it now. It was this summer while at the cottage for a week my wife took some pictures of me in the lake. While I was feeling pretty good about myself, I wasn’t too impressed after seeing them.
So this is when I decided to make a change. April 09 I turned 45 and wanted to be healthier and stronger than I was. I will also enjoyed my 15th wedding anniversary in September, (yes it's the first one too!). My first goal was to get my body fat down and build muscle and definition,(did that). Then I want to give my wife a sexy photo set of me, on our anniversary, as she gave me one on our wedding day. Did that Too!

I love what it's doing to and for me.
How I Stay Motivated:
My wife and kids and to keep my own health. Lookin in the mirror and seeing progress.

18 months ago I was your weight. I've gained 18lbs in 18 months. Slow clean bulk, all lean muscle, 100% natural. BF sits about 8 to 9% most of the time. Shawn, you were about the same build as me, you can put it on cleanly NP.
