I had the good life of never worrying about my weight, or at least I chose not to. I wasn’t skinny, but I wasn’t overweight either. I packed my weight on with my 1st pregnancy. I thought pregnancy = eat whatever I wanted when I wanted. WRONG! I gained 50 lbs. with my first one ending at 200 lbs. I eventually lost 40 lbs. over the course of 1 year and only to get pregnant again and gain another 50 lbs. ending at 210 lbs. Three years later, I’m still fluctuating between 175 – 190 lbs. I’m tired of wearing elastic waist bands and size ‘16’ jeans. I refuse to buy new clothes for myself, feeling like I’ve accepted my fate as a “chubby” person, I want the skinny girl clothes again!
Why I Love It:
It helps relieve the day to day stress of everyday life.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at my pictures of myself and see the reality of things. I don't want to get bigger than what I am. I want to get leaner.

I finally have a workout partner! We just completed week 4 of our workout (which is found in M&F mens magazine). I've never had a partner before, and I understand the benefits of having one now. I am less intimidated to try out new exercises with her and I'm able to push myself that...
That's right EG, all is NOT lost. Yes you've had setbacks, but you can choose to rise stronger. Take care of your health first, that's most important. There will be plenty of future triathlon's, and the weights are waiting for you. Remain strong, and remember to depend on the Lord. He'll provide all that you need. One day at a time. :) T
Hey Sis, it's great to read you're back up and running. I had to laugh at your comment about invasion of the New Year resolutioners. lol Too funny. :) T
Hey Eurogirl! Thanks for the support earlier! It’s ok that progress has slowed, because that means your body is adjusting internally and healing. You’ll be awed with the results when you’re back up and running. Just hang in there, and never forget that all things are possible with the Lord. I pray you're feeling better soon, and I’m rooting for you. Have a blessed Monday! :) T
Sis I hope you're doing well, and are in good spirits. Continue to train hard and reach for the stars. You deserve the best...and accomplish any goal that you set. Have a peaceful evening. :) T
:) Hey Chica :) Things are great!!! And moving along as they should, slowly but surely, lol :) Hope all is well with you too :) take care, jessica xxxxxxxxx
Thank you. That was so sweet of you to comment on my blog. Sure means a lot that people are actually reading my ramblings :)
Wish you the best in your aspirations!
Carla :)
Thank you sooo much for the comment! I have a long way to go, but I am getting there! Take care and have a great week!! Hope your goals are coming along!

Hey Sis, thanks for the support and acknowledgment. I appreciate them both. You know it's funny...small steps really do begin to look like leaps after awhile. I'm actually dropping the pounds and inches slowly, but they're consistent, so things are starting to add up. Just another reason to appreciate the tiniest of improvement. How are things going on your end? I pray you're reaching your goals, and are enjoying the journey. The latter really is most important. :) T
