When I Started:
May, 2009
How I Started:
I bought my first bench when I was 16 and have been working out off and on since then. I have a hard time staying motivated for more than 3 months at a time but I am really going to try and make it a lifelong commintement from here out.
Why I Love It:
I love it b/c you get to see the progress you have been making when you look in the mirror. Good or bad the mirror isn't going to lie to you. Also it's a great way to relieve stress and take your mind off of the everyday hassles and problems that you may be having
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by seeing progress. When I can lift more than I did a month ago, that is a excellent motivation boost for me. When I see my belly starting to tighten up and get flat is an excellent feeling and makes me feel like all of the hard work is really paying off.
BB Accomplishments:
I ran 2 miles the other day without stopping. Although it was at a slow pace I didn't need to stop and walk which for me is a big deal.

Right now I want to loose weight and build my cardio. I want to lower my resting heart rate and just get rid of my gut
Goal (Long):
Right now my focus is just on the fundamentals of being fit. My main goal at this point is to loose weight and body fat while improving my cardio. I also want to learn as much as I can about eating right and staying motivated and accomplishing my goals one at a time.
What's good, Mike? Thanks for joining my bench group. If there is anything I can do to help you out, please don't hesitate to ask.
