How I Started:
I got started when I was selected to be a lifeguard during my tour in Korea. I took off my shirt that first day and was disgusted with what I saw. It's been a battle ever since. A friend of mine showed me the light as far as not only lifting but proper nutrition, and I'm on my way
Why I Love It:
I don't love it, but it's a necessary part of my life if I want to stay fit and healthy, now, when my workout is over, I do have that feeling of accomplishment, plus being in better shape than people half my age helps keep me going.
How I Stay Motivated:
I take my shirt off and ask, "is this where you want to be?"

not falling into the "I'm 40 so I can be FAT" crowd

Goal (Long):
I am working on maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle and learning about the proper way to eat and work out so I can be a role model for my kids. I have learned that being healthy isn;'t just about looking good, its about eating the right foods at the right times. Plus I don't mind saying I like looking god when I take my shirt off
