I've been working on and off for about 17 years with "off" being much longer periods then "on"...:) Last September, after watching my dad going through his second open heart surgery I made the final commitment to start and never stop on the road to fitness and best ever body. So here I am now.
Why I Love It:
Because it makes me feel alive and strong, ready to turn over mountains...:)
How I Stay Motivated:
I have three main motivators:
1. I want to see what my body can look like in its best possible form at least once in this life time.
2. Seeing my father suffer from many health problems including diabites and heart failure I chose to do whatever it takes to steer clear from that path.
3. Looking at least 10 years younger not just in spirit but in body also.
My goal is to reach my body's full potential by shedding all extra fat and maintaining my current muscle while increasing its strength and tone.
Goal (Long):
By October 24th of this year I want to get down to 121 lbs with body fat no more then 17%. And by my 40th Birthday in December of this year I want have a greatly shaped body with defined physique.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 22 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
17%

I've gained 16 lbs since my last entry 8 months ago... and that's not muscle..:( I cannot even use pregnancy as a excuse. Been there, done that - four times. So.. what is my excuse? I stopped shopping for clothes and lost track of my waist line. Long behold, I went from low size 4 to...
Just started Jillian Michaels's 12-week "Winning by Losing Program." So far I am loving it. You walk away feeling that your whole body was worked on. The variety and changes in exercise also makes it more upbeat and entertaining. So there it goes:
YES but the slower the better cause it will stay off for good that way. I can totally relate how family and life in general can totally screw your consistancy up, but sounds like you are on fire and are not going to give into it. That's the attitude you need, remember if you're not happy nobody will be, gotta take care of yourself first! Congrats on doing BFL I did that years ago and had some good results from it. Keep me posted and take more pics! TGIF!!

It's good that you aren't weighing yourself until the end. You don't need that pressure. Focus on making changes in your body and not just your weight. You WILL be successful!
