My dad tinkered with bodybuilding in the late 80's and I was fascinated by it as a kid. I started hitting the gym in highschool just for stress relief and vanity.
I gained size easily, but definition and leanness were hard to come by with my lack of education and work ethic. After years of focusing on other things I've returned to the idea of getting in shape for the first time. Having never been in shape, this process will be totally new.
Why I Love It:
I don't love it yet, but I'm doing it until I do.
How I Stay Motivated:
Beautiful people make me want to do better for myself. Spending time with those who live right pushes me.
BB Accomplishments:
Becoming ticked off enough to finally do something about it and get started.
Looking to drop below 10% bodyfat before summer of 2010.
Goal (Long):
I've been a chunk all my life and I finally decided to do something about it on a consistent basis. Turning 30 has caused a change in my perspective and I don't want to waste any more time dreaming.
What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
The key for me has always been food intake. Greens and protein work well, but sticking to it is tough. Results always make it easier though. I vascillate between low-carb (aka: low energy) and low-calorie (aka: high hunger) diets. The key for me has always been food intake. Greens and protein work well, but sticking to it is tough. I've been debating between a low carb or low calorie approach to my intake and I've decided to go with the low-calorie plan. It seems to be more sustainable over time and if my choice is between low energy (low carb) or being hungry (low calorie) I definitely prefer hunger.
I would only do the ATKINS, if there is an excessive amount of weight to lose....My guidelines in my blog will help you get lean and add muscle at the same time.
No, I did that in the beginning. I did it for 8 onths straight, with strenuous workouts and I lost the weight...90 lbs. I Have guidelines of my diet now in my Blog....and you check out my web page in my profile for my diet and regimen.
