When I Started:
How I Started:
I've always worked out, but before my wedding I really started to shift my focus from lots of wimpy cardio to more intense exercise. Now I'm aiming to build up some lean muscle!
Why I Love It:
I like to look my best and feel strong. I hope to be a fiesty old lady someday!
How I Stay Motivated:
Apparently I don't! Ha! I'm officially back after taking about a decade off (ok, maybe a year) and not treating myself well. Life got crazy, I eased up on myself, and I'm ready to get back to feeling and looking my best!
BB Accomplishments:
None so far. Met some goals, fell off the wagon, and I'm less fit than ever!

eminva changed Body Fat from 20.5% to 23%, a gain of 2.5 percentage points in 232 days
Met most of my goals and held steady for a while but this crazy year gave me too many excuses and I fell off the fitness wagon. Just "woke up" today and saw my major steps backwards, so it's time to get back on track!
Long term goals- to stay steady around 110lbs or under with 18-19%bf. Right now, nowhere near that.
So I know it's possible to gain muscle since everyone on this site does it but I seem to be immune to gaining muscle. I can lose fat and gain fat but according to body comp results, I just lose muscle every time I lose weight, and I don't gain any back when I gain weight. I'm annoyed but trying...
Thanks so much for the compliments! I'm glad I can be inspiration for you. And you're right, body comp does matter way more. I think you look great, and I LOVE your main profile picture! Good luck with your goals, keep up the hard work!
Thank you. I'd say it's just as hard or harder (because you've been out of school so long) as the EIT exam. I started studying about 6 months before the exam. Just get all those practice question books and keep going through them. Tell him good luck! It's quite an accomplishment and pretty nice to have a few initial behind your name.
Hi, thanks so much for the add. You are making great progress! Yeah, we do have similar measurements :) You weight a lot less than me though. I still need to kill some fat!
Hi Eminva!! You look great in your profile photo. Thanks for visiting my space to share your support. Girl, I really do soak up all the optimism and positivity, and I only hope that I share the same with others. The body fat is stubborn, but one day…one day I’ll see those muscles. Continue to train hard and reach for your goals. You can only go from great to greater. Have a beautiful weekend. :) T
There may be no better feeling than the one you get after a good workout with weights. Try to push yourself to be the best that you can be and you will be amazed at the changes and the speed at which they can occur.
I wish you much success in achieving your goals.
